An Unknown Beauty

As I visited the International Rice Research Institute in Los Baños, Laguna Philippines last week, I was so impressed on how beautiful this landscape scenery. So I decided to stop over and give this a good shot while my brother and his girlfriend is waiting for me because we are heading to the cafeteria almost half kilometers away from their office. Then I ask if what is the name of that mountain and I'm surprised when they said, it was Maria Makiling.

According to the Philippine methodology, Maria Makiling is a fairy or a forest nymph whose duty is to protect and guard the mountain and it's resources. And for most of town's people, the mountain resembles exactly the whole body of Maria Makiling while lying and when you view it on a different distance, you will be able to see it.

Unfortunately, I was not lucky to see it but I hope someday I'll be able to see that beautiful lady.
