Clark Lake Park is a tiny park in Kent, Wa. Part of what makes it unique is that it's been around almost since the founding of the city of Kent. Originally it was a family farm until the original owners donated it as a public park to the city. In fact the old building seen in this photo is the original barn. There are also a few trees and posts with bullet holes in them from the original farmers target practice. Another aspect that makes this park unique is that It's also a wetlands habitat, so besides the trails around the park, it's largely untouched. As you walk around on the park trails there are few visible indicators that you're in fact smack in the center of the city, not something you normally find in such a small park.
