Mourning
This lonely piano was found in the middle of a frequently used jungle set outside the city. This was a sad moment, a sorrowful moment of creative remorse. Almost like a part of myself died looking at it. But it wasn't a death of something that debilitated me to the point of avoiding or rejecting this image. I felt drawn to it's illuminative energy. Although this is a lonesome rundown piano in the middle of the woods, there is a sense of peace. Not a peace that is sensed in tolerating and acceptance of things per se. Rather this peace is sensed in the personal draw to be confronted by a shattered or forgotten dream. This confrontation in loneliness brings accountability to individual responsibility in the grand scheme of life.
It is in the mourning process that we can move forward and continue to live.
