This photo was taken during an awesome hike in Colorado. The light went behind this rock face and cast these lovers in a artful silhouette. The light also danced with the horizon and the mountains (and the birds) creating a warm layer of colour that can be seen in the distance. Definitely a highlight of the hike. Eventually I hiked past these lovers up higher and watched the light slowly fade out above the mountains until we were basking in a cool blue haze.
