A rainy day can be both wet and beautiful. When I originally came up with the idea for this shot, I thought it would be easy to capture what I saw: millions of drops in a puddle. What I got was only one drop at a time. I learned how a rain storm is actually made up of many millisecond, and every time we blink, we miss something. For some reason, that made me appreciate the moment more. Some things need to be experienced to truly appreciate them. I hope this photo inspires more people to get out in the rain and notice the small things.
