Back in November 2016, my cousin Miguel passed away after a 3 year battle with cancer. He was 44. April 22nd 2017 he and his wife would have celebrated 25 years of marriage. Despite her reservations, one of his last wishes before his passing was for her to continue on planning their anniversary party. She did just that, and at the end of the night 500 of his closest family and friends gathered together in the courtyard outside of where the party took place, and we released glowing light up balloons in his honor.
