Doctoring up some Pillsbury slice and bake sugar cookies by adding a glaze frosting with pure almond and pure vanilla extracts and confectioners sugar and a bit of milk. Then before the glaze firms up and it the decorations will still stick in it, I used Wilton decorative bits to accent the hand formed roses that I made from modeling chocolate. I used Ghirardelli white chocolate that I tinted with a mixture of food coloring to get the lavender color for the roses. I love saving the time by using the slice and bake cookie dough. The flavor and texture of the cookies are great...but the time saved, allows me more time for decorating the cookies. I made these for a bake sale.
