Facing the entry gate is the front door, guarded by a narrow path leading towards this gate. I like to sit there at anytime of the day and look at the world happen. Normally there isn't anyone to see, maybe 1 or 2 souls at separate intervals, but what makes this spot great? Is the seen. Front opposite the house is the play grounds for a local school, the land there's a bit high so you can't see past the fence and the hill of dirt leading towards the sports field. Atop that is a spread of lush, green trees with a range of birds that song all day, the clear blue sky with scattered patches of white around these blooming stocks of twigs and turns coat the scene with a tranquil calm of bliss, and these birds chirp all around, even on trees here in the yard. This, indeed, is one of my favourite spots in the whole yard.
