I am female and I wanted to see if I was capable of modeling androgynous, I.e. i had a way to using different clothes and a brave new pixie is my current hair style I wanted to feel sexy and confident..and funny enough something as mundane as a trip to the barber would give me a sense of sexuality and empowerment just from the fade of clippers. I believe my self to be very feminine my style so doing this was a lot of fun. I have had very strong males in my life being from a big Italian And polish family who was 2nd generation in the USA on both my grandparents sides..so needless to say being a female who grew up in new jersey & philly and trips to new York when my dad had work, its was impossible to be shy or have thin skin. This project allowed me to embrace the loud dominate alpha in me with out being concerned of my dress or aching feet from stilettoed pumps. I love being a woman and a mother. and a wife..so in my particular case I got to play dress up and I felt like Henry hill in goodfellas ..his mother opens the door to find him head to toe sharp suit which he paid for with mob money and maybe my culture or my magnetized to the day dreams of the lifestyle of a gangster a goodfella..and I gotta say it felt good and intoxicating to play the role of a 20s in some photos or peaky blinder if u will...and in others like Rob deniro in godfather p2 keeping centos olive oil for his family out of respect and smart force ..just incredibly strong powerful (ficticious) characters that had respect before they arrived and left with more money and respect ..real mans men. hard working immigrants or new citizens came to have a new life in America and they broke their backs with no money from the door and there's something about a life of organized crime with such a long line and strong traditions that connect them to their culture of their peoples.i long for the days of wise guys, if I were born a boy.."ever since I could remember I wanted to be a gangster"she's a goodfella.
