Just a minute after you took the picture you could see the finished photo! Despite its high price of 95 dollars the camera was a big hit. The Polaroid camera with a self-developing film began being sold in the USA 1948. It was invented by amarican Edwin Lang, who also founded the Polarid company. In the 1970s with the addition to colour film and more automatic features the Polarid camera sold in millions all over the world. This is a Polarid Land camera model 95A from 1954 from USA.
