Low, fast moving clouds, both white and dark gray. Night slowly approaches, and these clouds are in the direction where the sun is setting.
A close up of a tree node, the gray-tinted bark somewhat covered in moss. No background
The mixed soil in a pot, some small green plants already sprouting, and more to come. Soil is brown and rich, and beads of yellow and white fertilizer are mixed in.
The dining room’s chandelier, turned off during the day, but still illuminated by the light from the windows you can see in the background.
A picture taken from inside after a bout of rain, looking outwards towards the backyard fence. Water stuck to the window screen and caused the blurry, almost staticky effect.
A close-up of the trunk of a tree covered in moss, with clear lined segments in the bark where it’s been peeled off or grew in layers.
When going to take a picture of the flowers in my front yard, I found what looks to be a jumping spider in between the petals!
A close-up of the pink nose of my cat. No background, no empty space, only fur, eyes, and his nose.
Rain falling onto the back deck, black plant pots in the distance. Several places where raindrops have landed are visible.
A side profile of my cat chattering at some animal running along the backyard fence.
Pretty blue-purple flowers that just bloomed outside our backyard fence. I think it’s cool that the unopened bud at the bottom is still a little green.
The severed wing of a dragonfly that my coworker found at my first job. I was always captivated my dragonflies as the flied around, and now I now their wings and their patterns are just as fascinating.
Pink flowers on a young, blooming peach tree, with the bricks of my house as the background.
A pair of homegrown pepper plants yet to be transplanted into a pot outside, basking close under artificial light. Background of kitchen tile backsplash
My cat was sitting on the arm of the couch with his paws down on the trunk below, and he was kind enough to stay still while I moved everything else away and took this photo.
My cat in the middle of yawning
My cat resting his head on the edge of a cardboard scratcher.
My beautiful cat, leaning against the arm of the couch and staring off into the distance, likely outside after noticing something moving.
A couple of spherical decorative solar lights in my backyard, faintly glowing teal and orange in the quickly fading light.
From a skiing trip with my family a while back; we were on the ski lift headed towards one of our first trails of the day.
A close-up of the leaves on a homegrown pepper plant that has yet to be transplanted outdoors. Green leaves, biodegradable pot.
The inside of a circular pepper grinder. Blue background, and the pieces of pepper ground up before still in the top of the container.
It started raining this morning and the fence turned into shades of orange. I thought it was pretty, so I rushed outside to snap a photo
I managed to wrangle my cat into a harness and leash so he could roam around the backyard for a while. Once the harness was on he took to it pretty much instantly, and had loads of fun exploring.

A plant in my mother’s garden that quickly caught my eye because of its brown edges—a result from a week of icy rain.
My mother’s jar of pickled radishes, which she’s actually about to get rid of because they’re old and she thinks she messed them up—they were a lot more vibrant before, and I’ll definitely get a picture when she makes a new jar.
Garden lights turn on as the night begins, lighting up the fence, and from further away, almost look like they’re floating.
Beautifully colored caterpillar found by the fence of my mother’s garden
My mother’s jar of pickled radishes—it’s fairly old and she’s replacing it soon. They were a lot more vibrant before so I’ll probably end up taking a picture of the new one too.
Taken on a hiking trip in June of 2022, and I didn’t get 3 feet into the trail before this stole my attention from the landscape. A small green plant, sticking up out of the sand next to a stone wall that I think makes the perfect background.
This is a fun surprise I found when my cats were younger. I started pulling back my blankets to take a nap and this guy’s head poked out! I guess he beat me to it.
My cat doing his silly favorite thing: lying on his back in the middle of the floor
Can you tell I have three cats living in my house? This is a close-up of the mat by the back door, and from far away it looks ugly, but the texture looks cool from up close
A close-up of the onions that have been living on the counter for the past few days, still in the mesh bag they were bought in.
Caught and trapped on the spines of a cactus, this bat was left to die before its time would have otherwise come.
“Cats love boxes” is a fact that will always be true, and this handsome little troublemaker jumped up on the counter and into this box before I could take it outside to the recycle bin!
I entered my room and saw my cat lying down on the perfect spot on my bed—the light coming in through my windows hit him well.
A close-up of my fence from the ground up, centered on the inner board as best as I could from that angle.
The ground right by my backyard fence. Dirt, dead leaves, plants, and that black metal rod on the left is part of a structure made to support climbing plants—a trellis.
