Silence. So calm, yet so deafening. "Where has everyone gone?" I ask myself, my eyes focusing all around me. Confusion sets in and my anxiety begins to overtake. I can feel my chest tightening; my lungs losing breath. "Remain calm" I try telling myself. It is in this moment I realize that I have been down this road before. The people, the ones I hold dearly, they may come and go. But I will always remain. With each step forward the realization of my truth becomes more evident... If you are meant to be here, than here you will be. "Calm" I say to myself once again, "Everything will be okay".
