Just a bronze poor. The furnace heats the metal up to just over 2200 degrees to liquefy the metal. It's the. Poured into molds made of the same type of stuff they made the tiles of the United Stated space shuttles out of. It can withstand huge amounts of heat.

Sculpture I made called Ichthyic Epiphany. Or "a fishy idea." Yes it's a live fish in a light bulb. No, no fish were harmed in the building of the sculpture. Yes either people love it or curse my name for being cruel to the fish. I feed them regularly by unscrewing the light bulb. The water is automatically cleaned. Beta fish are also called "fighting fish". They are a primitive lung fish that do not like moving water. The lung allows them to breath air by surfacing and inhaling it. Even when placed in large aquariums they will find a corner and remain there. They have been bread to live in very small amounts of water. The optics of the bulb makes the fish look bigger than it is.

My last year of Graduate school I had to take a graduate level history course. The class was AMAZING! Egyptology. When I found out we were expected to write a 15+ page paper I felt like I had been hit by a truck. My learning "differences" make such a thing almost impossible. To the professors credit he allowed the sculpture students to research something Egyptian and make it in place of the the 15 page paper. This is what I made. It is a kanopic sled chest that held all of the kanopic jars. Each one held a different set of organs represented by a different God. I made it following the design of the most famous of all pharos, Tutankhamen.
