Mission photos
Watching my daughter make her first jump of the Bridge in Edgartown was breathtaking. She I was terrified; although one wouldn’t know that fact by looking.
Capturing sunsets is, probably, a universal desire. This is no exception for this girl
I couldn’t resist taking a shot of the perspective given by this fence by the bay.
This photo represents a remarkable day in my life. I would normally describe it as “one of the most remarkable days” in my life. However, I realized it went beyond one day. This seagull followed me for several hours; like it knew I needed a sign
This is serenity, for me, and more. The absolute beauty of the dimming light contrasting the distant landmass is, in my mind, spectacular.
We all have the luxury of access to nature’s process. I can’t express how much I need this access in my life
I photographed this photo that was part of a mural in an alley in Boston. Although it was a very cold day,I stood there for a long time wishing I could talk to the person who owns these hands. I feel strongly that I would learn a thing or two.
At some point, an artist took paint to brick on this wall in Harvard Square. I love photography because of our limitless ability to capture limitless life.
What isn’t interesting about the perspective, contrast, color and strength of this brick wall? I have to wonder how many years it has lived here. What would it say if it could tell us all it has seen?
I think the blues in this block, subtle yet very present, we’re the perfect juxtaposition to the reeds I gazed through to admire the shot.
My happy place…Edgartown,MA
Headed to the T today. I was both grateful for the photo, yet annoyed by the “turkeys have the right of way”. What’s a girl to do? Take the shot of course!
Udon and I enjoying hiss eco drive birthday. This is one of my favorite pictures for presumably obvious reasons.
Walking on a rainy day…
If you have followed my work, you’ll notice I love shots highlighting perspective. I then saw the biker far ahead. I loved our, presumably, shared love of Borderland.
I woke up in my truck (thank God for that) with not a friend to be had and found this. I suppose one friend
Sunday afternoon snapping photos of every beautiful thing I saw
If my descriptions have been read before (I hope that they have been, are,and will be) it is understood that I gravitate toward the moon. If the moon is near full or more and glows through the wispy nighttime cloud over…I am taking a photo
Speaks for itself
This photo was fate. I don’t know how I noticed these tiny creatures. I found them while on a walk deep into the woods of Southeastern Massachusetts. Every living thing needs another.
This I found walking through Harvard Square still in a daze over finding myself taking incredible shots 5 ft. away from Princess Kate. I had no idea she would be there on my way to an appointment. Serendipity lives.
My son’s second birthday’s most important ingredient…cake! There is nothing more precious to have this memory to share
I would like to affirm this as a bust of David but I cannot. I can ,however, affirm the coincidently amusing expression of wonder and/or curiosity concerning the object on his head.
It seems as though many of my curiosities in the form of animals have distinct expressions. This, naturally, draws me to grab my camera and shoot
The road that cuts through this farmland I know like the back of my hand. It was early dawn and a mist covered the ground from tree line to tree line. Beautiful
What were the odds on this beautiful sight? On a random field in the middle of nowhere, I found them
This photo op was irresistible . The expression on the face of this apparent Greek God was priceless. It’s as if ‘he’s’ pondering what and/or if there is something on his head…
Sunday afternoon walk
Sunset in Swampscott
Moonlit steeple
It was time for these turkeys to head back home. I see them all the time in Boston but have no idea where they live. curious...
I'm photographing much more lately. I'm seeing everyday signs, symbols, etc. that I usually take for granted. I now wonder how this became universal for barbers.
It is fascinating to me how differently and similarly lives were lived over 100 years ago. I’m filled with imagery and curiosity (that produces the joy of the trip) as I wander these grounds.
