Hanging guitars at The Coffee Clinic

Life is resilient. Even if you're knocked down, life goes on. Get up, move on. A little better today than yesterday. Always be better.

Silver Nuts

Beef porridge from Nuromen. Delicious porridge beefy goodness.

Kopi Peng. A morning glass of kopi peng at a local kopitiam. In other words, iced latte at a local coffeeshop.

A tree stump growing young branches and leaves. Seems like a good metaphor of how resilient nature is and despite things going south, things will slowly get better as long as you don't give up.

Glowing clouds. This fluffy cloud with the sun lighting up behind it and obscured by other clouds at the front, and it's beautiful.

For the Chinese calendar, this year would be the year of the rooster. This is probably why there is a giant gold rooster in a coffee shop.

Log stairs. This is a traditional staircase used by the ethnic tribes in Borneo. Simply a log with deep etches for footholds.

Lychee lemon dessert. A delicious sweet dessert of lychee, aloe flesh, and with a slice of lemon

Heavy rains makes the already slow and heavy traffic even more time consuming. The daily struggles of workers and drivers the world over.

Blue skies. it just rained after a really hot day and the skies looked beautiful. Decided to take a snap and this bird came right into view. Lucky.

This is called a Twister Burger. Choice of beef, chicken or lamb. Basically your burger patty minced with egg and sauces and serve on hot dog bread spread flat. Surprisingly very filling.

breakfast. A typical breakfast at a coffeeshop, also locally known as kopitiam. Iced coffee with milk, mixed pork soup and laksa.

Sukha chicken and waffles. A surprisingly hearty meal of waffles with deep fried chicken served with awesome garlic sauce at Sukha
