One of my Boston terriers on alert at the beach. Its a cold and blustery day but she is somewhat warm in her yellow, white and green shirt. She is happy to watch from a somewhat sheltered spot amongst the driftwood.

Hey it’s true; I love FOAP! It’s a desktop made Foap logo & name inside a driftwood heart on a beautiful beach. The photo within is the Foap turquoise & some purple food colour dyed bubbly water all framed by a silvery border to match the driftwood.

Sitting on my deck watching the golden sun set & admiring my deck garden. Some pale pink roses I cut from my overgrown rosebush make a beautiful center piece complementing the pink & green of my tablecloth & the green chair on my deck. 💖

Summertime is for going to Tofino! We usually go every year and stay at a lovely place with outdoor hot tubs. After playing in the cold Pacific ocean a hot tub definitely feels good & revives us; as shown by the smiling and goofy faces! 🛀

Texture, form & rule of odds: This beautiful soft furred albino wallaby was so docile & friendly. And she has the most stunning eyelashes; soft, full & so delicate looking against the half closed pink eyes.

My favourite room in the house is the room where there is the most interaction with my family; my open kitchen -family room. This is also the room where we cuddle & snuggle. Even spiky Stormy likes cuddles! Home is where the heart is! ❤️

Artificial light & natural light. Flickering flames from battery powered candles & natural flames from wax candles The light of all the candles reflected off a mirror & it’s gilded ornate frame. 🔥

Staying in shape means surfing! We go every year for a family trip and the girls surf, we play in the waves & on the beach and enjoy being together! This is my eldest seriously skilled and serious about surfing! She had such a blast!🏄‍♀️

Summertime is for summer camps! My youngest went to her first fairy camp & earned her fairy wings & made a pink fairy tutu to match her pink hair. She was convinced she could fly & kept bouncing to show us her takeoff moves! Caught her in mid bounce!

Creating soft, flowing, dynamic, three dimensional abstracts today. This black and white was made with glue and dish soap with food dye painted in small swirling lines into the mixture. All centered by one shiny dark marble.

A blue-green, glacier-fed river tumbles and cascades over the smooth, brow, rocks creating pools, rapids and little waterfalls. The afternoon Spring sun made the water shine and sparkle as it followed its path downstream.

The setting sun has just dipped below the mountains still lighting the sky in a beautiful pink & orange glow. The trees & mountains are darkly silhouetted against the glowing sky but the form of the fir trees in the foreground is still visible.

Framing: An adorable little Sugar Glider sits comfortably at the neck of a young man framed by the mans head & hands who gently ensures the animal is safe but doesn’t feel trapped. The marsupial felt content & sniffed & licked the young man’s hand.

Stormy, our adorable bearded dragon is supposedly my daughter’s pet but he gets most of his love & attention from me. I am also the only one who he will tolerate holding him but armour & quick reflexes are required! But he’s so adorable I don’t mind!

My pup loves to run and was happy to run through the long beach grass on our walk. The warm Spring sun and the wind made her happy to bound through the long grass!

Beautiful mountain wildflowers on a lovely spring day. There was fog rolling across the mountain so the orange California poppies were closed as they do at night to protect themselves against the cold. There are droplets on the flowers from the dew.

The crows were going crazy in my back yard yesterday pestering this adorable baby raccoon trying desperately to take a nap. The little cutie eventually found a spot in a secluded and tiny nook & settled down for a snooze.🦝

A bald eagle has two outer eyelids that close when he sleeps. To blink an eagle also has an inner eyelid that moves sideways towards the outer eye. This translucent eyelid is used to blink & clean the eye & is called a nictitating membrane. 🦅

Texture & pattern: The patterned metal arm of a wooden bench has either been deliberately distressed or age has naturally created a beautiful rust & turquoise patina. In addition the distressed wood of the bench gives it a very vintage appearance.
