The perfect morning walk

A wrong turn quickly became a now or never moment. It was beautiful.

I took this photo on a rainy afternoon right as the sun came through the clouds.

Arlington Lake Sunset

This was a beautiful surprise to a rather disappointing first impression.

On this day the clouds above my house were alive. All I did was aim the camera.

Nobody took me seriously when I announced my plan to grow my own tulips. The jokes were funny because I honestly didn't know what I was doing so I believed I would mess it up. She proved me wrong.

Later on that same day a few miles from my house my breath was taken away again.

Just another Texas summer day.

Melancholy Monday

Star light, moon very bright! This winter full moon was intense and incredible to look at.

Clear view of the sunset from a highway that on a normal Friday night before the pandemic would be blocked by traffic.

Two nights ago I walked outside to take a peek at the storm local news had just posted warnings for and for a second I thought I saw heaven. This photo pales in comparison to what was in the sky that night.

After having looked at this vase on my desk for about a year unsure of what to do with it, the thought to sit a candle inside had never occurred to me until this night. it wasn't long before I became completely mesmerized.

In memory of my best friend. I had given her the half heart which she added to her favorite cross necklace. Love always.

I took this photo yesterday of my husband and my 7 pound very dirty and very exhausted Maltese. These two in harmony yet alone in a photo together is a rare event. Happy Father's Day. Love, Buddy.

I was at the park with my dog and somewhere in this tree was the loudest bird. I started to use my camera as binoculars to find him, but almost instantly my attention was diverted to the green leaves. I never did find the bird.

There's no better thrill than hearing a plane somewhere nearby then suddenly seeing the plane fly right over you.
