The Photo of the Month was captured by @otofakus and selected by @alineisabelle who shared: "At first glance, I've had real difficulty choosing one shot; they are all so amazing. So I reviewed them again with "winter" in mind, and what it means to me : the end of a cycle, the stillness of nature self-enclosed, frozen energies, a silent transformation… And these bare branches and frozen bird prostrate in waiting as if taking his breath for the next cycle caught my eyes. The dark black & white tone, the focus on those sleeping branches and this inactive bird illustrate perfectly life at a stand still. Yet, the framing leaving the bird looking outward on one of the shot's edges breathes anticipation and hope, giving free rein to one's imagination. Minimalist while being charged with meaning, an off beaten track winter shot to me!"
