Evening walk to clear the mind of a stressful day. Nature’s medicine for the weary mind.

Babies know one thing for sure.... where ever there’s a playground I’m there. My little Princess makes a mad dash for the playground with her favorite companion in tow.

Summer and watercraft the perfect combination on a hot summers day. Burn calories and cool down at the same time... genius.

Growing up is hard to do ,but a necessary thing as it’s what makes the world go round.

Sometimes nature’s contrast can really bring you into the moment. Against a grey background a gash of color pops in front of you. Craving a memory of where you’ve been.

Standing strong in the distance is Hallsgrímskikur.

Lighting was what caught my attention. I know your not supposed to look into the sun, but I couldn’t help it. Standing on top of the Perl as it’s called the views are awesome.

Crossing the bridge I was so grateful to be able to enjoy such a peaceful place. It’s a good thing for the soul to take time to reconnect with Mother Nature.

Looked like the clouds were set afire with the suns fading rays. The sight frozen me in the moment which is funny for the beauty was on fire!

To get away from it all right? Well in Olfasfjorur ,Iceland they have a spot for you!

Out for a ride not a care in the world. Fresh air and bright sunny day, makes one feel like a rich man.

Hanging around by the pond. People come with the kids to feed the geese and ducks. Great time if day with a nice warm light.

Just off the bridge there’s a path, not sure where it goes ,but had time turned around and nice.

A beautiful day at the beach with a pretty surprise. Gotta stop and enjoy the moments that make a good time worth remembering.

Lovely day at the beach. Seems a timeless scene to me. Two on a beach, it’s what many can relate to so black and white use your imagination for the colors.

Another shot of one of my favorite places in Iceland. The sunfarer monument in downtown Reykjavik. Early morning was the time and I’m glad I got up. Makes me wonder how the vikings of old viewed the beginning of a seafaring adventure.

Out for a bike ride to stretch the legs. Seems I wasn’t alone in that endeavor. As the rain was ready to unload got some fresh air before the downpour.

When this is your backyard summer is a gift.

A bike ride in summertime is living in the moment. Moments like these solitary rides last a lifetime.

The eruption of Eyjafjallajökull a true balance of beauty and power.

A historic city and beautiful harbor are just the beginning of the adventure we had in Copenhagen, Denmark. The way the city seems to revolve around the water had me in love with it.

Color gives an energy to things and sometimes you feel it.

Sometimes the things you wish to share happen only when your alone. Capturing a moment is an act of giving, sharing, a bit of ourselves and what we live and love for.

All played out, exhaustion from the many layers needed to be comfortable in an Icelandic winter. Many children and parents know this site. Time for some hot coco and a 😴

It’s magical these rainbows appear randomly and to catch on film is a joy. Now to search out the elusive double rainbow!

The tide slowly rises, and the land gives way. A walk along the beach is always a welcomed activity.

A rose by any other name would smell just as sweet. Everyone loves a rose.

When you live outside the city you’ll find great little day getaways. Some mountains, some lakes, maybe even a farm or two. Kids can have great little adventures and meet a four legged friend sometimes.

Going for an evening walk I was fortunate enough to come upon this beautiful display of nature’s palette. Like being in a living painting of what dreams will come.

Solitude sums up this picture. Calm, quiet, peace is the place we all long to get to.
