A different perspective on a view to be happy about. Standing in one place you can see more if you think less.

Perfect summer swimming hole. A silent place to relax and clear the mind.

On the shoreline looking at the massive cruise ship at port. Beautiful-day for those on board to stretch their legs.

The river running strong and true leads my eyes back to you. Love being by any water in summertime.

The weather and temperature is changing getting into winter. The sun is setting on a beautifully cold day. In the distance the University of Iceland reflects the moment.

Walking around the bay the landscape is very nice. Not the local tourist spot ,but well worth the trip. Public bike and walking paths are part of the lifestyle as well as public swimming pools.

The long and winding road leads where it does. Your expectations determine its value to you.

Out for a walk or jog it was a perfect day to get out and about. The great thing about Iceland especially around Reykjavík are the multiple ways to experience the city.

A nice clash of colors I thought. In any direction my wyes widened with appreciation and gratitude.

The sunfarer monument faces the new day in silence. The traffic hasn’t picked up, few are stirring un aware of the display nature effortlessly presents. A popular tourist spot in Reykjavik, Iceland is best witnessed in the dawning light.

Sitting by the stream taking a break from hiking. A summer day spent outdoors is time well spent.

One way to enjoy a summers day is to get out on a bike and explore. With such an area as this it’s well worth it.

Scenic overlook in New Haven CT. One of my favorite places as a child and adult. It’s a summer time rite of passage, to travel there with your friends and barbecue,play ball ,enjoy their company and the weather.

Being by the water has a calming affect on my mood no matter what it is. Loving the summer weather just going for a simple walk is rejuvenating.

Fun time with the kids bowling is as good a choice as any. Plus you can’t use your IPad while doing it.

Walking along the tide pool. Perfect spring day with excellent weather. These stones stand witness to it all.

Twilight and the light is alive. The autumn air is crisp and cool making the view sharp and clear. Taking a long look at the bustling city.

A child cam play endlessly because the world troubles them not. When adults forget themselves then they truly enjoy the moment.

Bold is the Icelandic countryside in it’s raw beauty. So to have had my camera to capture such views.

Having fun lakeside getting ready to do some fishing. Something every kid should try. It’s a lesson in patience and appreciation of nature.

What’s it all about? Enjoying every moment and showing that gratitude in silence.

The main attraction doesn’t know he is. Power and beauty exhibited fills one will respectful gratitude and awe. The Bronx zoo a gem in the middle of the city.

Eyjafjallajökull erupted right after a visit from my parents. Coincidence? Ha! Maybe my mother would say it’s for living so far away.

Out into the unknown, adventurers boldly took to the seas in Search of treasure, new lands, and a spiritual journey that would test them. The past and the modern intersect with this picture honoring the seafaring vikings of old and today’s vikings.

Sitting on the rocks absorbing the warm of the noonday sun. Thinking nothing feeling everything so is the way a vacation should be.

Enjoying following the stream on a golden summer day. Exploring the world around them is a kids prerogative.
